Staging Women
Curator and Interior Designer Antonia Eggeling set out to develop an exhibition that challenged patron's perceptions of women in art, both as the subject, and as the artist. I joined Antonia to create a look and feel for the exhibit and develop print and digital way finding.
Antonia and I worked together to craft the hero imagery for the exhibition. The concept centered around framing and positioning the female subject in or out of the frame. That women artists are unwitting subjects at times. In either position, women deal with a veil of either anonymity or projection.
I developed a custom display typeface – SW Serif – for the title of the exhibition and featured text.
